The plan is, again just like in Guild Wars, that earning skills is part of the reward structure, so you will need to work for better skills. ![]() So imagine in Guild Wars terms, "only" 1 class with a lot of attributes. The only difference will be that as of planned so far, that there will be no classes. Slaves of Magic is an XCOM like fantasy turn based tactic game, where for every character you will be able to set up 8 skills. ![]() I grew up playing it, and I too wondered why nobody ever tried replicating it in other context. ![]() I hope a bit of self-promotion is okay if it fits the topic, as I'm the developer of Slaves of Magic, and I took heavy inspiration from Guild Wars 1 skill system.
